Dixon Public Library
Adult
Summer Reading Program
Reading Through Time

All library patrons with a valid adult
library card (high school freshmen on up) are eligible to participate in
this program.
From June 9 - July 26,
read any 7 books (including audiobooks) of your choice that have been
checked out from the Dixon Public Library or through Interlibrary Loan.
Fill out the entry form and turn it in at the Adult Services desk to be
eligible for an end-of-summer prize. There will be two sets of prizes: one
for young adults (patrons ages 14 - 18) and one for adults. You may enter
as many times as you like, but titles can't be duplicated.
The library is also
offering an art class, "Basic Drawing and Sketching Principles," with
local artist Melody Hemmer. The hour-long classes will be held at the
library on Thursday mornings between June 12 and July 3 and are open to
any patron with an adult card. Class size is limited so advance
registration is needed. For more information please contact the
Adult Services Department at 284-7261. More info...
Don't forget our weekly
radio quiz
questions!
Listen to "Library Lines" Monday mornings
at 9:10 a.m. on
AM WIXN 1460 for the chance to call in and win; the
first correct caller will be the winner. Winners are responsible for
picking up prizes. The number to call is 284-7261.
