Summer Art/Crafts Classes

To celebrate the summer reading program, the library will be hosting free art classes for 4 weeks on Thursday mornings: June 11, June 25, July 2, and July 9.

Drawing class (taught by Melody Hemmer):
 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Scrapbooking class (taught by Michelle Hemmer):
 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Beading class (taught by Melody Hemmer):
11:00 a.m. – Noon

Classes will be held in the Community Room in the public safety building across the street from the library.  Class size is limited so participants need to sign up in advance by going to the Adult Services desk or calling the Adult Services Department at 815-284-7261.

Limited materials will be supplied. Participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies but should wait until after the first class to find out what they need.
