![]() ServicesYouth ServicesPrograms are planned through the year for preschool - 8th grade children. Our popular Summer Reading Program is designed for school-age children during June and July. Adult ServicesPrograms for adults are held periodically through the year. A Monday 9:10 a.m. radio program on WIXN 1460 AM features library activities. Services for people with disabilitiesAn elevator and entrance are located at the west end of the library. Large print books, audio books and closed-captioned videos are available. Devices for people who are visually impaired or hard of hearing are available for use in the library. Interlibrary LoanPatrons have access to books, audiobooks, magazine articles, census microfilm, and activity kits for children. ComputersComputers are located in both Youth and Adult Departments for word processing, reference resources, and educational games. Printing is available for 20 cents per page for black & white, 25cents per page for color. Internet AccessInternet access in available in both the Youth and Adult departments. (See Computer Use Policies online or at the circulation desks.) Faxing/PhotocopyingFax service is available. To send or receive a FAX: $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page within the United States, to defray telephone expense and staff time. Copy machines are available for public use. Copies are 20 cents per page for black & white, 25 cents for color. Public Access ScanningThe Dixon Public Library at the discretion of the Director of the Library or her designee may accommodate a request of a Dixon Public Library Patron to send a scanned document by email. Scanning Fee: $.20 per page (up to 11 x 17 inch sheet). Library staff may review scanned documents for copyright compliance.
