 December 2009 –  New Book Releases - Christmas 2009

These books have been released during the past few weeks. The library’s current policy is to release new books as they are processed, which means that you will be able to get them sooner! For your convenience, we will continue to list new releases on this page, with frequent updates.

You may reserve any of these titles by placing holds at www.dixonpubliclibrary.org and login to your Dixon Public Library Patron Account. To use this feature, you will need a PIN number and Alternate ID Number. Please contact the library if you do not already have these set-up.  For more info on reserving a book go to:  Request (Place a Hold) on an item in the Public Access Catalog (PAC)

When you place a hold, your name is added to a list with others who are waiting for that title. The order of the list follows the sequence in which the holds were placed. When it is your turn to receive the book, the library staff will notify you by phone and hold the item for up to four days to give you time to pick it up.

If the library doesn't own a book you are looking for, we might be able to borrow it from another Illinois library via Interlibrary Loan
