Join us for stories, songs, crafts, and activity stations.

same letter as your name.
Enjoy a variety of dinosaur stories and activities with your family.
Decorate a dinosaur egg to take home.

Monday, March 8, 6pm
Kings, Queens, and Castles

Did you know that Old King Cole was a real king?
Learn how nursery rhymes like "Humpty Dumpty," "Little Miss Muffet"
and "Old Mother Hubbard" all refer to real people and events from long
ago.
Play with castle blocks and knights, and make a castle mobile to hang from
your ceiling.

Monday, March 15, 6pm
Green, Green, Green!

After a long winter, we all need a bit o'green.
All of the evening's stories, activity stations, and crafts will have
something to do
with that wonderful spring color: green.

Monday, March 22, 6pm
The Birds Are Back!

Celebrate the spring return of birds with stories and
activities related to our fine feathered friends.
Make a bird mobile, go on an egg hunt, and watch a worm race - with real,
live worms!

Monday, March 29, 6pm
Gold Fever at the Library

Learn about gold and how to find it.
Try panning for gold, go on a pretend gold rush, and search for "gold" in
the library.
We'll also make a "gold" refrigerator magnet and play winter bingo.
This event is part of the Sauk Valley Big Read grant
which celebrates Jack London's book,
"The Call of the Wild."

Family Nights are sponsored by the Golden Kiwanis
and
the Dixon Wal-Mart.
