
Even though the
summer reading program ended on July 10th, we still have some things going
on….
For those children who still
have DaVinci Dollars: The Van Gogh Gift Shop will be open will be open
from July 12th – July 16th.
To carry on the Art theme
that we have had so much fun with this summer, we
will have Drop-In Crafts available in the Youth Department until school
starts. These crafts will be available to every child who
participated in the summer reading program.


Kena Rivera of Salamandra Restaurant will be
conducting fun Spanish Classes for children.
July 13 - August 12
For children entering 1st-4th Grades:
Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:00pm
For children entering 5th-8th Grades:
Tuesdays, 4:00 - 5:00pm

Didn't Win an Art Dog?
Participate in the Rockford IceHogs
"HAT TRICK FOR READING"
program, and you might win
a hockey prize.

The Rockford IceHogs are sponsoring a
simple reading program called "Hat Trick for Reading." Just read three
books before August 14th, fill out an IceHogs Reading Log, and you may
enter into a drawing for a hockey prize.
When turning in your reading log, let the
librarian know which prize drawing you wish to enter. The drawing
will be held on Monday, August 16th.

and craft and program preparations.
